CT Germany – media technology provider on the IAA 2005…

CT Germany started into this autumn season with several audio visual technology projects on the IAA (= International Automobile Show) 2005 in Frankfurt. On the world's largest automobile show, exhibitors such as Audi, Skoda, Saab, General Motors, Suzuki and Brose relied on CT's services on the audio visual media technology sector, which were used during press conferences and on the exhibition stands in Frankfurt from September 13 to 25, 2005.


Press conferences with audio and video competence

As always, highest quality demands during the press conferences were requested by the manufacturers. As a direct partner of the customer or agency, the exhibitors such as Skoda, Audi, Suzuki, GM and Brose were supplied by CT Germany with audio visual technology in a competent way.

High-resolution LED screens, high performance projectors, broadcast and audio technology were used, partly just installed for the numerous visitors of the press conferences and for unveiling the innovations on the show.

A Barco ILite 6 XP was also supplied from the CT rental park specifically for the press conference on the stand of Suzuki and was installed on site by the CT team.

For broadcasting the press conference of Skoda, two camera systems including vision mixer and camera team was provided by CT, which could be perfectly seen also from a far distance on the high-resolution LED screen which was integrated into the stand.

Fascination media technology - architecture
The perfect integration of very latest LED technology into the overall stand architecture could be seen again this year on several stands of the IAA.

For General Motors, CT was responsible for the entire audio engineering during the press conference, supplied the complete audio technology and also provided the operator and technical staff for the press evening event as well as for the GM press conference on the stand of Opel.

For the customer Brose, the complete press conference on the stand was realized on the audio and video sector, accompanied by a complete camera system including production. The audio and video installation on the stand of Brose with several projectors, plasma displays, an audio system and a wireless network with 50 access points was another project of the CT team on site in Frankfurt.

Undoubtedly, the CT customer Saab is an outstanding example for how most modern LED technology can be integrated into the stand architecture. 100 square meters of VersaLIGHTGUIDE and a surface of 40 square meters high-resolution Barco ILite 6XP LED were combined with static wall elements ensuring a fascinating ambience on the stand by especially produced film and graphic contents. Moreover, 11 interactive car display systems with the current vehicle data were installed on the stand with approx. 1000 square meters and the entire stand was equipped with a complete audio system.

On the stand of Audi, brilliance as well as modularity of today's LED technology was implemented in the exhibition concept. Numerous individual elements of the new Barco OLite 510 blocks were integrated in combination with high-resolution 3 mm LED modules from Barco in a special construction into the stand architecture. With a length of more than 17 meters, the LED modules of different sizes were installed into the architecture of the communication screen of Audi. A special element with LED technology is represented by the so-called MiPIX Experience Floor. With more than 5700 individual MiPIX blocks in a special construction and with graphic feed, it was an outstanding experience.

Another special construction was installed on the stand of Skoda for the substructure of several different LED modules. In the curved construction with a width of more than 20 meters, almost 20 square meters of Barco ILite 6XP modules as unique surface and more than 70 modules Barco ILite 10 in individual stripes and blocks were combined to an impressive overall image.
