Successful start in 2005 - CT Germany provides media technology for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit

This year, Creative Technology Germany – international provider for audio visual media technology – supplied the automobile manufacturers Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Saab on the first international automotive exhibition of the year - NAIAS in Detroit from January 09 to January 23, 2005.
For the exhibition stand of the Audi AG, the CT Germany team supplied an LED screen Barco ILite 6 XP with a size of 16.8 square meters, which was integrated into the architecture in several columns. The feed on the screens with video and graphical contents was carried out synchronously via two HD players and was realized by means of the media control Medialon Manager. In addition to the project scheduling for the entire media technology, CT was also responsible for the installation of the supplied technology as well as for the support on-site.
The press conference of Audi was performed with the equipment and service from CT Germany. The complete broadcast equipment consisting of three camera systems and one crane camera was used from the CT rental stock. For the large screen presentation of the press conference another two Barco Ilite 6 XP LED screens with 6 square meters each were supplied and installed from the CT rental stock.
This year, Mercedes-Benz relied on the know-how and the technology of the internationally experienced CT team. A media technology highlight within the stand architecture was a fascinating LED screen – integrated in an extravagant steel construction, which was shaped with a forward curve. The trapezoidal screen was a combination between high-resolution Barco ILite 6 XP modules and the outdoor display Barco DLite 7. The HD feed was realized via the DVS Workstation from the rental stock. Various plasma and LC displays as well as the complete audio system for the Mercedes-Benz stand were also provided. In addition, another eight 42“ and 50“ plasma displays were distributed and installed on the stand for the press conference.
The curved VersaLIGHTGUIDE LED screens from the CT rental stock were a premiere on the Saab stand this year. All in all five screens with a surface of 98 square meters of this fascinating product were installed in special constructions. Two additional high-resolution Barco ILite 6 XP LED screens with 32 modules each were integrated into the two central VersaLIGHTGUIDE screens. The content which was especially designed and programmed by CT - controlled via the media control system Medialon Manager – was perfectly adjusted to the five VersaLIGHTGUIDE screens and to the two LED screens. In addition to the audio system for the exhibition stand, CT supplied several interactive car display systems and internet terminals and was again responsible for the entire technical planning and local realization for Saab in Detroit.
