NOVA
…the first “Real 3D“ video LED object in modular form.
This 3D LED innovation creates fascinating visual effects of unknown depth by coloured LED balls.
The LED
voxels¹ can be individually addressed and have
a
screen refreshment rate of 1/25 of a second, i.e. the equivalent
25 pictures per second, a voxel diameter of 4 cm and a colour-depth
of 16 millions colours, thus giving the represented contents high artistic
quality and an emotional dimension. The “real 3D“ LED object is animated
by user-defined video- or graphics sequences that can be presented at an angle
of 360°, creating a totally
new perception of space.
Logos in 2D and 3D can be presented or film sequences that can, depending on the viewer perspective,
be perceived as concrete or imaginative pictures. The representation of contents in three dimensions is made
possible by a technically demanding and hitherto unique software, developed at ETH Zürich.
An infinite amount of creative possibilities is guaranteed by the
modularity
of the LED objects for temporary and permanent use:
the individual combination of the single
NOVA LED modules
for user-defined objects and the visualisation of different contents provide
unknown possibilities in the fields of architecture, interior design
and communication.
The sophisticated design-object
NOVA takes the viewer to
a singular world full of
magic and imagination, provides
an oasis of tranquility in an environment that is satiated with stimuli and
invites to pause for a moment of awe.
¹Voxel, short form for volume pixel, is the smallest distinguishable part of a three-dimensional image
